Can you install a ceiling fan where there is only a light?▼
Yes. We add the required wiring and switching so the fan and light can be controlled independently, and confirm the mounting point can take the load before we start.
Why does my ceiling fan wobble?▼
Usually because it is fixed to plasterboard or a batten that flexes, or because a blade is bent or unbalanced. We check the fixing first, since a wobble that gets ignored eventually damages the mounting.
Are DC fans worth it?▼
They are generally quieter, use less power and offer more speed steps than older AC fans, which is noticeable in a bedroom. We are happy to talk through the difference for the room you have in mind.
Can you install a fan outside under a patio?▼
Yes, using a fan rated for that exposure. On coastal properties in the Shire it is worth specifying for salt air, not just for weather.
