How many power points can go on one circuit?▼
It depends on the circuit rating, the cable and what is already connected. Rather than count outlets, we look at the actual load and the protection at the board, then either add to the existing circuit or install a new one.
Can you add a power point behind a wall-mounted TV?▼
Yes, and it is one of the most common requests we get. We install the outlet and can route the cabling so nothing is visible below the screen.
Why is my power point warm or making a crackling sound?▼
That usually means a loose connection or a failing outlet, both of which are fire risks. Stop using it, switch the circuit off if you can, and have it looked at promptly.
Can I get power to a shed or garage?▼
Yes. Depending on the distance and load, that may be a sub-circuit or a small sub-board. We assess and quote it before starting.
