Isolate and carry out the work
Supply is isolated as required, the attachment is installed to sound structure, and the line is re-tensioned correctly.

Supply restored, clearances confirmed, documentation completed with the network.

My service line has come away from the house. Is that urgent?▼
Yes. Treat a detached or sagging service line as an emergency, keep everyone well clear, and call us or your distributor immediately. Never touch or attempt to reattach it.
Can the attachment point be moved for a renovation?▼
Yes. Relocating the attachment is common when a roof line changes or a second storey is added. It is Level 2 work and needs to be coordinated with the network, which we handle.
Who pays for point of attachment repairs?▼
The attachment on your building is the property owner's responsibility, while the network is responsible for its side of the connection. We confirm which is which during the inspection.
